In the deep silence of this Good Friday morning, I come to adore the Cross. I stand in awe before this instrument of our salvation, the throne from which You, my King, reigned in love and poured out mercy. My heart is heavy with sorrow, Lord. I see the wounds, and I acknowledge the sins—my sins—that made this holy sacrifice necessary. Forgive me. Grant me the grace, I pray, to unite my own small sufferings with Your perfect Passion. May I carry my cross with patience, trusting in Your redemptive plan. I lift to You the needs of the whole world, for which You died. Heal our divisions, comfort the grieving, and draw all people to Your wounded side. "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Yet, "future generations will be told about the Lord." I place all this at the foot of Your Cross, in humble adoration and hope. In Jesus Name Amen.
