Good morning, Father. As this Saturday morning dawns, I come to You with a heart full of the week’s busyness. I ask You to calm my mind, to help me release the mental lists and the lingering tasks. Quiet my spirit, Lord, and draw me into Your stillness. Prepare my heart for worship tomorrow. Cleanse it from distraction and fill it with a true longing to meet with You and Your people. I ask for a spirit of holy expectancy—not just for a routine, but for a genuine encounter with Your presence. Grant me, and my family, a truly restful Sabbath. A rest that restores our souls, not just our bodies. As the Psalmist says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” Help me to know You in this quiet, in this anticipation. Thank You for this gift of preparation. I receive Your peace. In Jesus Name Amen.
