As the quiet of this Saturday evening settles around me, I come before You. I look back on the week that has passed, Lord. Examine my thoughts, my words, and my deeds. Where I have been proud, impatient, or careless, I ask for Your cleansing grace. Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Please, remove from my heart all the disturbances of the world’s noise and entertainment. Calm the restless waves within me. Help me to prepare a quiet and humble heart, a heart that is truly ready for You. Plant in me a deep and true longing—a hunger for Your Word and a thirst for worship that honors You alone. Let my spirit yearn for the gathering of Your people. I lift up tomorrow’s service to You. Bless the one who will bring Your message. Anoint our time of worship. Knit our fellowship together in love and truth. “Be still, and know that I am God.” Help me to rest in that truth tonight, to lay aside every weight, and to wait for You with a prepared heart. In Jesus Name Amen.
