**Evening Prayer for an Overwhelming Day of Conflict**

Father, as this day ends, I come to You feeling completely overwhelmed. The conflict I faced has left my heart heavy and my mind racing, replaying words and tensions I wish I could resolve.

Yet, even here, I find a quiet grace to thank You for: the simple safety of this moment, the gift of breath in my lungs, and the truth that no earthly strife can separate me from Your love.

Your Word meets me in my exhaustion: *“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”* (Matthew 11:28, NIV). I cling to this promise now.

So, I release it all to You. I surrender the unresolved argument, the hurt feelings, and the weight of misunderstanding. I lay down my need to fix it, my defensiveness, and the swirling anxiety that keeps me from peace.

Please restore my soul. Quiet the storm within me. Heal the places where today’s friction caused bruising, and grant me a deep, untroubled sleep that mends my body and my spirit.

Tonight, I choose to entrust every person, every word, and every outcome to Your sovereign and gentle hands. I relinquish my need for control and choose to believe You are at work, even in the silence.

In the name of Jesus, my Peace, I pray. May Your calming presence watch over me and grant me rest. Amen.
