Good morning, Father. As this Saturday morning dawns, I come to You with a heart full of the week’s busyness. I ask You to calm my mind and release the clutter of tasks and thoughts, that I might find stillness in You today. Prepare my heart for tomorrow’s worship. Quiet any distraction within me, and create a space of holy expectancy. Let my spirit begin to lean into the joy of gathering with Your people. Grant me, Lord, a spirit of true anticipation—not for tasks, but for Your presence. As I tend to the day’s chores, let my soul be at work preparing for You. I pray for a truly restful Sabbath, a deep and holy pause. As the Psalmist says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” Let this knowing settle into my bones, a peaceful trust that renews my strength. Thank You for this gift of preparation and peace. In Jesus Name Amen.
