**Evening Prayer for the Weary & Anxious** Father, as this day closes, I come to You honestly weary in body and anxious in mind. The weight of worry has been a constant companion, and my strength feels spent. Yet even here, I find a grace to thank You for: the simple gift of this quiet evening, a moment to stop and breathe, and the promise that I do not carry this load alone. Your Word meets me in my exhaustion and says, **“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)** I hold onto this tonight. So now, I release it all. I lay down the specific anxieties that churned today—the unknowns, the fears, the “what ifs.” I also surrender this weary feeling, this emotional fatigue. I cannot carry it into the night. Please, Lord, restore my soul. Quiet the racing thoughts. Let Your peace, which transcends my understanding, guard my heart and mind. Grant my body the deep, healing rest it needs. I choose to entrust this night to You. The world is in Your hands, and so am I. I release my need to figure it out or stay on guard. In the name of Jesus, my burden-bearer, I pray. May Your presence be my peace through the silent hours. Amen.
