**Evening Prayer for a Broken Heart**

God, tonight I come to You feeling completely broken. My heart aches, and the weight of this day’s pain feels too heavy to carry.

Yet, even here, I can find a small grace to thank You for: the simple fact that You see me, You hear me, and You have not left me alone in this.

Your Word promises, *“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”* (Psalm 34:18, NIV). I hold onto this truth now.

So, I release it all to You. I surrender this shattered feeling, the source of the hurt, and every broken piece into Your capable hands. I let go of trying to understand or fix it tonight.

Please, Lord, mend what is fractured within me. Heal my heart with Your gentle touch. Quiet the storm of sorrow and grant my soul a deep, restoring peace as I sleep.

I choose to trust You with this night. I entrust my brokenness to Your healing love and my weariness to Your sustaining care.

In the quiet, be my comfort. In the dark, be my light. Watch over me as I rest in Your promise to bind up the brokenhearted. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
