**Morning Prayer for a Broken Heart**

Good morning, Father. I come to You at the start of this day feeling broken—my heart is in pieces, and the challenge before me feels like walking through shattered glass. Yet, here I am. You have given me this new day, and for that simple, steady gift of breath and light, I am grateful.

Your Word says, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18, NIV). I declare that over my brokenness this morning. You are not distant from my pain; You are near.

I release this shattered feeling to You. I surrender the sharp edges of my hurt, the weight of my disappointment, and the fear that I cannot be put back together. I lay them at Your feet and ask for Your healing hands to hold me.

Lord, grant me the grace to simply breathe today. Give me the strength to take one small step at a time, and the wisdom to know when to rest in Your presence. Let me feel Your companionship in the silence.

Today, I commit to one act of gentle honesty: I will name my brokenness to You in prayer, even if it’s just a whisper, instead of pretending I’m okay.

I go into this day held by You. May I sense Your nearness in every moment, and may Your peace, which mends the unmendable, guard my heart and mind as I walk forward. Amen.
