As this Friday evening settles in, and the pace of the week begins to slow, I come before You. I look back on these past days, on the challenges faced and the small successes granted, and I see them all now through the lens of Your constant, guiding love. My heart is drawn to contemplate the cross, to the depth of Christ's sacrifice—the ultimate, profound act of love that covers all. In the quiet of this moment, I release to You any regrets, any sense of falling short. I lay them down at the foot of that cross, receiving Your grace anew. Thank You for the gift of this rest, for the promise of a Sabbath to come—a holy pause to remember that You are God. Your word says, "I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety." Let this truth cradle my soul tonight. I entrust this night and the coming day to Your loving care. In Jesus Name Amen.
