**Evening Prayer for Financial Anxiety**

Lord, as this day closes, I come to You with the weight of these loans pressing on my heart. My mind is racing with numbers and deadlines, and a deep anxiety has settled in my spirit. I feel the burden of this debt, and I confess my worry to You now.

Yet even here, I thank You for the provision this loan once represented, and for Your faithfulness that has sustained me through another day. Thank You for being a God who sees my need and hears my anxious thoughts.

Your Word brings a promise into this worry: *“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”* (1 Peter 5:7, NIV). I choose to hold onto this truth tonight.

So right now, I release it. I release the spreadsheets in my mind, the fear of the future, and the heavy burden of this financial obligation into Your capable hands. I surrender the entire situation—the principal, the interest, the timeline—to Your sovereign care.

Please quiet my anxious heart. Replace the swirling thoughts with Your deep, settling peace. Heal the places in me that equate my security with a balance sheet. Grant me a restful sleep, free from the torment of “what if.”

I choose to trust You with this night and with all my tomorrows. I entrust my finances, my future, and my family’s well-being to You. You are my provider, not the bank. My security is in You, not my account.

In the quiet of this night, let me feel Your presence as my peace. Guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as I rest in You.
