**Morning Prayer for a Day of Uncertainty**

Good morning, Father. As this new day dawns, I bring to You the heavy reality of my job loss and the anxious, unsettled feeling in my heart. I acknowledge this challenge and this emotion before You now.

Thank You for the gift of this morning, for breath in my lungs and the promise that Your mercies are new today. Thank You that this day is a blank page in Your hands, not defined by my circumstances.

I hold onto Your promise: **“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10, NIV)** You are with me in this anxiety. You are my God in this uncertainty.

I release to You my fears about the future, my worries over provision, and the lie that my worth is tied to a title or a paycheck. I surrender my need for control and my anxious thoughts about what comes next.

Lord, calm my restless spirit. Grant me today a clear mind to take practical steps, a peaceful heart to trust Your timing, and eyes to see the opportunities You provide, not just the doors that have closed. Uphold me with Your strength when mine fails.

Today, I commit to taking one step—whether updating my resume, reaching out to a connection, or simply resting in You without guilt. I will act in faith, not fear.

I step into this day upheld by You. May my anxiety be met with Your peace, my questions with Your guidance, and my need with Your faithful provision. In the name of Jesus, my sure foundation, Amen.
