**Evening Prayer for an Overwhelmed Heart**

God, as this day ends, I come to You feeling completely overwhelmed. The challenges with my partner have left my heart heavy and my mind racing, and I feel like I’m carrying a weight I cannot bear.

Yet, even here, I thank You. Thank You for being a safe place for my weariness. Thank You for the love that still exists, even when it feels strained. Thank You for Your promise to be with me in every storm.

Your Word says, **“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28, NIV)**. I come to You now, with all my weariness. I bring You this relational burden, this feeling of being overwhelmed.

I release it all into Your hands. I surrender this situation with my partner, every misunderstanding and every hurt. I also surrender this crushing feeling of overwhelm—the anxiety, the confusion, the emotional exhaustion. I let it all go.

Please, Lord, restore my soul. Quiet the storm inside me. Heal my heart where it is wounded and grant me the deep, restoring sleep that only You can give. Guard my mind from replaying conversations and my heart from further distress.

Tonight, I choose to trust You with this relationship and with my own fragile heart. I entrust my partner to You, and I entrust my need for peace to You. I will not carry this through the night.

In the quiet, I receive Your peace. Watch over me as I sleep, renew my strength, and let me wake with a heart steadied by Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
