**Morning Prayer for an Overwhelmed Heart**

Good morning, Lord. As this new day dawns, I feel the weight of my responsibilities in this partnership. My heart feels overwhelmed, stretched thin by expectations and the constant need to give. I bring this tiredness and this relationship to You now, at the day’s fresh start.

Thank You for the gift of this morning, for the quiet before the day begins, and for the grace that is new right now, especially when I feel I have nothing left.

Your Word says, *“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”* (Matthew 11:28 NIV). I claim this promise for my soul and for this relationship today. I choose to come to You first.

I release to You my need to control every outcome, my anxiety over potential conflicts, and the heavy burden of feeling solely responsible for this partnership’s harmony. I lay down my exhaustion at Your feet.

Father, grant me the specific grace of *one-thing-at-a-time* peace. Give me wisdom to see what truly needs my attention today and the courage to let go of the rest. Fill me with a patience that is not my own, and help me to listen more than I speak.

Today, I commit to one act of intentional kindness—a gentle word, a small service—without expecting anything in return, as an offering of love to You and my partner.

I step into this day with You. Guide my reactions, guard my words, and help me to see my partner through Your eyes of grace. May my overwhelmed heart find its rhythm in Your perfect peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
