As this Friday evening settles in, and the pace of the week begins to slow, I come before You. I look back on these past days, on the challenges faced and the small successes granted, and I see them all now through the lens of Your constant, unwavering love. My heart is drawn to contemplate the cross, to the depth of Christ’s sacrifice—the ultimate, solemn act of love that covers every moment. Here, in this quiet space, I release to You any regrets, any sense of falling short. I lay them down, received by Your grace. Thank You for the gift of this rest, for the promise of a Sabbath to come, a holy pause to remember Your goodness. Your word says, “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.” I entrust this night and this coming rest to You. In Jesus Name Amen.
