**Evening Prayer for a Peaceful Heart in Parenting**

Father, as the day quiets and the house grows still, I come to You with a heart full of gratitude. The challenges of parenting were present today, yet You met them with a grace that left my spirit not weary, but peaceful. Thank You for the moments of laughter, the small obediences, and the quiet trust I saw in my child’s eyes.

Your Word says, *“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.”* (Psalm 4:8, NIV). I claim this promise now. I release into Your hands every concern about tomorrow’s needs, every unseen pressure, and my own imperfections as a parent. I let go of the need to have all the answers or to control every outcome.

Lord, as You gave me peace today, I ask You to guard it through the night. Renew my mind and restore my body in sleep. Let this peace be a wellspring for tomorrow’s patience and wisdom.

Tonight, I choose to entrust my children and my rest entirely to You, their perfect Father. I release my watchfulness into Your sovereign care, knowing You neither slumber nor sleep.

In the quiet assurance of Your presence, I will rest. In the name of Jesus, my peace, Amen.
