**Morning Prayer for Peaceful Parenting**

Good morning, Lord. As the first light touches this new day, I come before You with a peaceful heart, ready to embrace the calling and challenge of parenting.

Thank You for the gift of this fresh morning and for the quiet peace that fills my spirit. Thank You for the precious children You have entrusted to my care, and for the grace that meets me in both the calm and the chaos.

Today, I stand on Your promise: “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it” (Proverbs 22:6, NIV). Let this truth be the anchor for my decisions and the gentle guide for my words.

I release to You any subtle worry that this peace might be fragile. I surrender my own plans for their day and their lives, making space for Your perfect will to unfold in our home.

Father, from this place of peace, grant me a listening heart—to hear not just my children’s words, but their hearts. Give me patient wisdom to guide, gentle strength to correct, and joyful creativity to connect. Let Your peace in me become a safe harbor for them.

Today, I will choose to truly see my children—to pause, make eye contact, and receive the moment You’ve given us, however simple.

I go into this day peaceful and purposeful, clothed in Your grace. May our home be filled with the light of Your love, and may my parenting be a reflection of Your faithful, patient heart. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
