**Evening Prayer for a Hopeful Recovery**

Lord, as this day of healing draws to a close, I come before You with a heart that feels both the weight of this recovery and the gentle lift of hope. Thank You for the small, specific graces I noticed today—perhaps a moment of less discomfort, a kind word, or a glimpse of progress. These are Your fingerprints on my path.

Your word promises, *“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”* (Psalm 34:18, NIV). I claim this closeness tonight. I release this entire process of recovery into Your capable hands—the timeline, the unknowns, and my own striving. I also release any lingering worry or impatience, placing my hopeful expectation firmly in You.

Please restore my body as I sleep, and guard my mind with Your perfect peace. Let this hope I feel be anchored not in circumstances, but in Your unchanging character. Tonight, I choose to entrust my healing and my rest entirely to You. I relinquish control and accept the gift of sleep as an act of trust.

Watch over me through the quiet hours. May Your presence be my comfort and Your faithfulness my assurance until the morning light.
