Now, bring your awareness to your chest... as you inhale, feel your ribcage expand softly to the sides... and as you exhale, feel your chest settle and soften... releasing any tightness held around your heart... "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Bring your attention to your shoulders and neck... areas that often carry the weight of a Tuesday's tasks and decisions... On your next exhale, imagine a warm, heavy blanket of relaxation draping over your shoulders... melting any tension down your back... letting your shoulders drop away from your ears... Allow this wave of softening to travel slowly down your body... through your arms and hands... your fingers growing heavy... down through your torso, your hips... releasing the day... down through your legs... your knees... your calves... all the way to your feet and toes... a full, gentle release from head to toe... Rest here in this deep stillness... your breath moving on its own, soft and easy... your body supported, your mind quieting... You have done enough for today. Gently begin to deepen your breath once more... wiggling your fingers and toes... bringing gentle movement back... carrying this feeling of peace with you as you transition into your rest. Whenever you are ready, slowly open your eyes.
