**Evening Prayer for a Hopeful Parent**

Lord, as this day of parenting draws to a close, I come to You with a heart that feels both the weight of responsibility and the lift of hope. I acknowledge the challenges—the moments of frustration, the decisions that felt uncertain—but I also feel a deep, quiet hope for the children You’ve entrusted to me. Thank You for the glimpses of grace today: for a shared laugh, a moment of understanding, or simply the gift of their presence. Thank You for sustaining my hope even on the tiring days.

Your word says, *“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth” (3 John 1:4).* I claim this promise tonight. I release my anxieties about their future and my own shortcomings into Your capable hands. I let go of the day’s tensions and choose to place my hope not in perfect outcomes, but in Your perfect love for them.

Please restore my soul with Your peace. Quiet any lingering worries with the assurance that You are watching over them as they sleep. Renew my hope with fresh vision and patience for tomorrow. I entrust their lives, their hearts, and their paths completely to You, Father. I trust Your care for them is deeper than my own.

May Your Spirit blanket this home with stillness. May Your angels guard our rest. I receive the gift of sleep, hopeful for the new morning and the continued journey of raising them in Your grace. In the peaceful name of Jesus, Amen.
