As the quiet of this Saturday evening settles around me, I come before You, Lord. I look back on the week now past—my thoughts, my words, and my deeds. Please search my heart and cleanse me from all that has not honored You. Wash away the noise and the residue of the world’s entertainments, and help me to turn fully toward Your sacred rest. Grant me a quiet and prepared heart, free from every disturbance. Stir within me a true and deep longing—a hunger for Your Word and a thirst for genuine worship tomorrow. I lift up those who will serve: the speaker, the worship leaders, and all who will gather. Prepare our hearts for fellowship and our spirits to receive from You. “Be still, and know that I am God.” Help me to rest in that truth tonight, to cease striving and simply know You. In Jesus Name Amen.
