Good morning, Father. As this Saturday dawns, I come to You with a heart full of the week’s busyness. I ask You to calm my mind, to help me release the mental lists and the rush, and to simply be here with You. I pray for my heart’s preparation for tomorrow’s worship. Quiet the noise within me, Lord, so I can truly hear Your voice in the songs, the prayers, and the Word. Fill me with a spirit of holy expectancy. Let me look forward to gathering with Your people not as a routine, but as a joyful appointment with You. Grant me, and my family, a truly restful Sabbath. A rest that restores our souls and refocuses our eyes on You, the source of all peace. I remember Your word in Psalm 62:1, “Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him.” Let my soul find that rest in You today. In Jesus Name Amen.
