**Morning Prayer for a Weary Heart Facing Job Loss**

Good morning, Lord. I come to You at the start of this day, weary in spirit and facing the heavy reality of this loss. I acknowledge this challenge and my tired heart to You now.

Thank You for the gift of this new morning, a fresh space of grace where I don’t have to carry yesterday’s burdens alone. Thank You that Your mercies are new for me today.

I declare Your promise over this day: “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged” (Deuteronomy 31:8, NIV). You are ahead of me, even in this uncertainty.

I release to You my weariness, my fear of the future, my feelings of inadequacy, and the heavy weight of "what's next." I lay down the need to have all the answers right now.

Father, grant me the specific grace for today: the strength to get out of bed, the clarity to take one small, practical step forward, and the peace to rest in Your provision, not in my productivity. Fill my depleted spirit with Your hope.

Today, I commit to one act of faith: I will speak one true thing about Your character out loud, to combat the lies of fear and failure.

I go into this day held by You. May I sense Your guiding presence with every breath, and find moments of unexpected grace along the path. In the name of Jesus, my sustainer, Amen.
