Good morning, Father. As this Saturday dawns, I come to You with a heart seeking stillness. Quiet the noise of the week’s busyness within me, and help me release all the tasks and thoughts that crowd my mind. I ask You to prepare my heart for tomorrow’s worship. Turn my attention from doing to being—being in Your presence. Stir within me a spirit of holy expectancy, that I might truly look forward to meeting with Your people and hearing Your word. Grant me, and my family, the gift of a truly restful Sabbath. Let it be a day of genuine renewal for our souls, not just our bodies. As the Psalmist says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” In this stillness, I wait for You with anticipation, trusting in Your faithful love to refresh and prepare me for the week ahead. In Jesus Name Amen.
