**Morning Prayer for a Peaceful Day**

Good morning, Lord. As this new day dawns, I come before You with a peaceful heart, grateful for this quiet moment. I acknowledge the broad journey of life that lies ahead, with all its unknowns, and I bring both its potential and my current sense of calm to You.

Thank You for the gift of this fresh morning, for the rest of the night, and for this settled spirit with which I begin. Thank You for the peace that guards my heart and mind, a gift that comes only from You.

Your Word says, **“The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand.” (Psalm 37:23-24)** I declare this over my life today. I trust that my steps are ordered by You.

From this place of peace, I release any subtle anxiety about the future or the sheer scope of life’s path. I let go of the need to see the whole journey, and I surrender my desire for control over the distant horizon.

Lord, as I step into this day, fill me with Your wisdom. Let this inner peace translate into patient discernment for the decisions, both big and small, that life will present. Grant me the strength to be fully present in each moment, not rushing ahead in my mind.

Today, I commit to carrying this peace with me as an act of worship. I will look for one opportunity to extend this calm—through a patient response, a listening ear, or a gentle word—to someone else on their own journey.

I go into this day commissioned by Your love, guided by Your hand, and cloaked in Your peace. May my life today be a testament to the steadfast companionship of Christ, in whose name I pray, Amen.
