**Evening Prayer for a Hopeful Heart**

Lord, as this day of new opportunity closes, I come to You with a hopeful heart, grateful for the doors You opened and the paths You revealed.

Thank You for the gift of this day and the promise it carried. Thank You for the energy of hope that stirs within me, for the sense of anticipation that feels like a gentle light in my spirit. I’m grateful for the chance to see Your hand at work, even in the beginnings.

Your word says, *“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”* (Jeremiah 29:11). I claim this promise over the opportunities before me.

Now, I release this day and all its potential into Your sovereign hands. I surrender my hopeful plans, my eager thoughts, and my desire to see what’s next. I let go of the need to figure it all out tonight.

Father, as I sleep, guard my hope. Protect it from anxiety or doubt. Quiet my mind from its planning and fill my heart with Your perfect peace. Renew my strength and clarity for the journey ahead.

I choose to trust You with this night and with every tomorrow. I entrust the opportunities to Your timing and Your wisdom.

In the name of Jesus, who is my hope, and by the peace of the Spirit, I pray. Amen. Sleep in heavenly peace.
