**Morning Prayer for a Peaceful Day**

Good morning, Lord. As this new day dawns, I come to You with a peaceful heart, aware that life’s journey holds both known and unknown paths. I thank You for this quiet morning, for the gift of a steady spirit, and for the rest that prepares me for what lies ahead.

Your Word reminds me: “The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand.” (Psalm 37:23-24, NIV). I claim this promise for my life today.

From this place of peace, I release any subtle worry that the calm might break. I surrender my desire for total control over life’s unfolding story. I let go, trusting the narrative to You.

Father, anchor my peace in Your sovereignty. Jesus, walk with me as my companion on today’s stretch of the road. Holy Spirit, be my gentle guide, turning my peaceful heart into a source of discernment and kindness for others.

Today, I commit to carrying this peace with intention. I will look for one moment to be a peaceful presence for someone else—to listen patiently, to respond with grace, or to offer a word of quiet encouragement.

I go into this day held by Your hand, guided by Your light, and clothed in Your peace. May my life today be a reflection of Your faithful love, from this quiet morning until evening rest. Amen.
